Letter Regarding Trust Transfer

Dear Parents,

As you will have seen in the press the academies in the Castle Partnership Academy Trust have today become part of the Samuel Ward Academy Trust. This change will help us to ensure we continue to deliver excellent education to our young people. Our immediate intention is to continue to work closely with local schools, but the move also offers us the opportunity to work with a wider group of schools.

As you know, at Castle Manor we have been working alongside colleagues from the Samuel Ward Academy Trust since September, growing our working relationships and building our expertise and capacity. I truly believe that this collaborative approach is the most important next step in the growth of our school. Our staff are working together with others from the 4 secondary schools in the new trust to share expertise and resources to focus on the best possible outcomes for our students. For our young people it will continue to be business as usual – engaging learning, continual growth and positive experiences. I know that I will continue to see PROUD students every day.

As parents I would encourage you to continue to support your child’s learning as you have been. Our staff remain devoted to ensuring your child has access to a wide variety of learning opportunities throughout the school.

As always, if you want to contact me to talk this through or to discuss any other issue please email me on VWhitcombe@castlepartnership.org.uk or my PA, Gill Mitchell on GMitchell@castlepartnership.org.uk.

Yours sincerely

Vanessa Whitcombe
Headteacher
