Castle Manor Students Celebrate A-Level Success

Castle Manor Academy’s Sixth Form students are celebrating today as they collect anexcellent set of A-level results. This year’s results are amongst the Academy’s best and see a wide range of students heading off to further study at universities up and down the country.

This year’s results show that 92% of courses were passed at grades A*-E with 76% of gradesNat grades A*-C. On average, when all courses studied are included, students achieved results equivalent to three C grades at A2 level. Results come from a broad range of academic and vocational subjects, reflecting the academy’s dedication to meeting the needs of its students.

Students will be heading off to universities up and down the country to study a wide variety of courses. These courses include mathematics, games development, philosophy & history and business management.

Vanessa Whitcombe, Head of School, said “We are all extremely proud of our students and their achievements, both academically and in the various ways in which they support our community. Our staff and parents have worked tirelessly with students to ensure they have the drive to get the best possible results and I would like to thank them for their continuous hard work. We would like to wish students heading to university, further study or in to work the very best and look forward to seeing them again soon.”
